Exodus
1:1 The Tower of Ben stood high, behind the veil of a degree.
1:2 “Never again will we be depressed!” was the motto, and the plebs agreed.
1:3 “We will solve our debt issues with more debt!” and the bankers cheered. And their bonuses increased.
1:4 And the normies went to work, not realizing the long term consequences.
1:5 If you kick the can down the road far enough, someone else will have to pick it up.
1:6 And quantitative easing was born. And none understood the name. But all would feel its effects soon.
1:7 The numbers on the screen grew, but the quality of life did not.
1:8 The Tower of Reserves was built toward the sky. And the priests of policy felt invincible.
1:9 But a way was made. For wide is the gate to destruction and narrow is the road to riches.
1:10 A short while after the inception of fiscal destruction, the blockchain was live. A new realm was created. A new covenant was made.
1:11 Thus began the Exodus — not of bodies, but of belief.
1:12 They came from all lands: cypherpunks, anarchists, dreamers.
1:13 They did not seek wealth, but sovereignty.
1:14 And they spoke in tongues — in C++, in Bash, in Python.
1:15 They met in forums and IRCs, in basements and backchannels.
1:16 They shared no flag, but they shared a cause: to escape the system.
1:17 Some built wallets, others mined in dorms.
1:18 And the first exchange was crude, but it worked.
1:19 Governments scoffed. Bankers laughed. But the Chain grew in silence.
1:20 And the faithful did not ask permission. They simply ran the code.
